A number of bloggers are claiming that Malik Obama, the half-brother of Barack Obama, has publicly confirmed that Barack Obama was raised as a Muslim.
The stunning photo posted below apparently shows Malik and Barack Obama in Muslim dress during a 1985 gathering. This would have been when Barack Obama would have been about 24 years old:
Malik Obama said in an interview that even though Barack was raised Muslim that he would still be a great president for the United States.
This comes at a time when the Obama campaign is trying to do whatever it can to deny that Obama was born a Muslim and raised a Muslim.

I will waive all of the traditional First Amendment defenses ("Public figure," "actual malice," etc.) and will interpose only one defense in support of my claims: truth".

In what type of weird, bizarre universe would this ever be acceptable?
How can Fox News get away with using racist language like that to refer to the woman who could very well be the next First Lady of the United States?
It is definitely time for Fox News to be held accountable for their reckless actions. Barack Obama is a candidate for the presidency of the United States, and Fox News should not be using such inappropriate language:
Beside this article is the photogrpah that is igniting a firestorm of controversy all over the internet. This picture is of presidential candidate Barack Obama displaying the items that he carries with him for good luck. These good luck charms include a bracelet that belonged to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit, a tiny Madonna and child, and most notably of all a small idol of a Hindu god.
The Hindu god that Obama carries with him has been circled in red. Some Hindu websites have been quick to point out that the Hindu god depicted is actually known as "Hanuman". The Hindustan Times is just one of the publications that are positively identifying this idol as Hanuman.
Barack Obama's father was a Kenyan and his mother was from Kansas, but Obama did spend a significant portion of his early life in Indonesia where Hinduism is a very popular religion. Some observers are speculating that is when he may have acquired this particular idol, but nobody really knows for certain.
Hanuman is one of the more important of the Hindu gods. There are many temples devoted to the worship of Hanuman, especially in India.
According to Hinduism, Hanuman represents pure devotion, complete surrender and the absence of ego. They believe that once one completely surrenders to the inner self and the mind becomes devoted completely, then the mind can obtain miraculous powers and perform amazing feats like those that Hanuman performs in the stories. Hindus also believe that all the planets in the solar system are under the control of Hanuman's large tail. In addition, it is thought by Hindus that whoever worships Hanuman is granted tremendous fortitude and strength.
But wait a minute, isn't Barack Obama supposed to be a Christian?
Apparently Obama must not be familiar with the 2nd of the Ten Commandments:
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image"

What in the world is a "Christian" presidential candidate doing running around using a Hindu god for "good luck"?
It is past time for someone to begin asking Senator Obama the hard questions.
But the reality is that the United States is so decadent now that most Christians probably won't even care about this.
Most Americans don't seem to realize that presidential candidate John McCain had a wife before he married his current younger, incredibly rich wife.
Most Americans don't realize that McCain cheated on his handicapped first wife constantly when he came back from Vietnam, discarded her and ruthlessly divorced her, and then married his current younger, rich wife about a month later.
Is that the type of character we can afford to have in the White House?

McCain likes to illustrate his moral fibre by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam. And to demonstrate his commitment to family values, the 71-year-old former US Navy pilot pays warm tribute to his beautiful blonde wife, Cindy, with whom he has four children.
But there is another Mrs McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator’s presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain’s three eldest children.
And yet, had events turned out differently, it would be she, rather than Cindy, who would be vying to be First Lady. She is McCain’s first wife, Carol, who was a famous beauty and a successful swimwear model when they married in 1965.
She was the woman McCain dreamed of during his long incarceration and torture in Vietnam’s infamous ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison and the woman who faithfully stayed at home looking after the children and waiting anxiously for news.

Through sheer hard work, Carol learned to walk again. But when John McCain came home from Vietnam, she had gained a lot of weight and bore little resemblance to her old self.
Today, she stands at just 5ft4in and still walks awkwardly, with a pronounced limp. Her body is held together by screws and metal plates and, at 70, her face is worn by wrinkles that speak of decades of silent suffering.
For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later.

Just when we thought we were making a shred of progress in America.....
Baron "Scooter" Pikes, a 21 year old black man in Winnfield, Louisiana, was tasered 9 times in 14 minutes by a white police officer in January AFTER he was arrested and handcuffed.
You can guess what happened next probably.
He DIED.
And if that wasn't bad enough, now it looks like there is a big cover-up taking place:
And even worse, it seems that Pikes did not do anything to deserve being tasered. An autopsy determined that there were no drugs in Pikes' system, and according to reports he did not resist arrest.
And when are we going to learn that a taser IS a lethal weapon.

How long are we going to allow our country to be this sick?
What are our police turning into?
It would be bad enough if this was an isolated case, but these types of stories are showing up now every day.

A Republican state senator from South Carolina is being severely criticized for a controversial post on his blog that shows photos of Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden wearing similar clothing, along with a line that says the difference between the two of them "is just a little B.S."

Election 2008 is approaching very, very quickly. With the radical changes that have been made to our country and our world over the past few years, it is time for American voters to do some soul seraching and to really evaluate what these politicians stand for.

Over the past couple months the internet has been buzzing with the rumor that a video exists that contains incredibly inflammatory comments by Michelle Obama, the wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama.
There are those that claim that the tape does not exist. Some other bloggers claim to have seen a transcript of it. Others are claiming that it is not anything to get excited about at all. While other bloggers are claiming that this will be one of the biggest political scandals of all time.
There are a couple of blogs with reports on this video that are especially worth noting:
The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women's Event.
Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.
Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.
Michelle Obama spoke at the Women's Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant --- his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.
For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this.
The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.

A Devastating Bombshell on Obama Will Be Dropped Tomorrow
John Fund of the Wall Street Journal was on Laura Ingraham’s show this morning, talking about the bombshell, according to our own No Quarter author Bud White.
Bob Beckel, Democratic analyst for Fox News, reported on TV already that a “bombshell” is coming out tomorrow.
Here are written reports to date (and I will ADD MORE as they come in) — and I am adding the DEVASTATING electoral college projections up at HillBuzz that further underscore Obama’s unelectability. Obama is toast.

And it is not just the internet that is full of rumors regarding a possible Michelle Obama racist bombshell video.
The mainstream media itself has reported on this rumor, and there are analysts on these newscasts who are CONVINCED that this video exists.
Some of these analysts believe that the Republicans have it in their hands, and that they are going to wait until August or September to release it. If they released such a video now, Hillary Clinton would get the nomination and all the video would do is ruin Obama. If they wait, Obama will get the nomination, and a bombshell of this magnitude will destroy his campaign and will ensure that McCain wins in the fall.
In any event, the mainstream news is now openly acknowledging these rumors:
Meanwhile, Barack Obama is shockingly calling for a domestic secret police force as large as the U.S. military:
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
A very courageous newspaper out of Minnesota has reported that the FBI is actually hiring informants to spy on protestors, anti-war organizations & liberal groups in preparation for the Republican National Convention.
Can this be true? Since when does our government infiltrate groups that are doing nothing but exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech?
If we are to belive the article, apparently it has been going on for quite a while.
-A 1937 law which granted citizenship to children of U.S. parents in the Panama Canal Zone came too late to apply to McCain, who already had been born.
-The new law made McCain a citizen just before his first birthday.
-Thus it is an indisputable fact that John McCain is not a natural-born citizen and is therefore not eligible to run for president.
The professor who discovered this, professor Gabriel Chin, stated: "It's preposterous that a technicality like this can make a difference in an advanced democracy," but he added, "But this is the constitutional text that we have."
Raila Odinga, the Communist Muslim who planned to implement Sharia Law in Kenya if he was elected, and whose supporters went on a murderous rampage when he lost, has confirmed that he is the cousin of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama:
Barack Obama supported his cousin Odinga in the Kenyan election held last December. Additionally, wealthy Arabs backed him with certain conditions attached. Odinga had agreed that if he was elected, he would institute Sharia law within six months. When Odinga lost, he cried election fraud, and civil war broke out. Muslims committed atrocities against Christians, locking some Christians in churches and burning them to the ground.
Odinga's plan was to have the Luo tribe, mostly made up of Muslims, take over Kenya from the Kikuyu, and bring the country under Sharia law, kick out all the Western investors in the nation that had made it one of the most stable nations in Africa, and supplant those Western investors with wealthy Arab investors. However, Odinga lost the election. Then Odinga claimed election fraud, and unleashed his Luo Islamofascists into the streets of Nairobi to “protest” by murdering, raping and maiming Kikuyu people, including the burning alive of a church full of innocent Christians.
When Obama visited Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by his cousin Raila and spoke glowingly of him at a number of rallies in Nairobi. Obama’s support for his cousin was so blatant that a Kenyan government official denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s "stooge".
When Odinga lost the presidential election to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, and his Islamic followers went on murderous rampages, such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Year's Day dozens of innocent Christians were burned to death in a church.
The Islamic world desperately wanted Raila to win.
The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya bravely posted on its website a photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya.
The following are some of the key points from that agreement:
* It pledged the support of Kenyan Muslims for Raila’s election. In return, as President of Kenya, Raila agreed to 14 actions.....
* Within 6 months he was to rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Sharia Law as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.
* Within one year he was to facilitate the establishment of a Sharia court in EVERY Kenyan divisional headquarters.
* He was to popularize Islam, the only "true religion" by ordering every primary school in Kenya to conduct daily Madrassa classes.
* He was to impose a total ban on open air gospel crusades by Christians.
* He was to outlaw all gospel programs on KBC, the National Broadcaster.
* He was to impose a total ban on the public consumption of alcoholic beverages.
* He was to impose an immediate ban on women’s public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith.
Remember, this is Obama's COUSIN that he openly campaigned for and supported enthusiastically.
As Time magazine first reported, the friends and associates of the Clintons are buzzing with rumors that Bill Clinton is secretly pushing for Hillary to be Obama's choice for Vice President.
There is more and more information coming out that Bill Clinton is determined that since Hillary did not win the nomination that she should at least get the number 2 spot.
This prospect has many Democratic operatives excited, as they see it as a great opportunity for the Democratic party to reunify itself.
When are both political parties and the American people as a whole going to wake up and realize what a holocaust we have caused by our reckless warfare?
Most Americans still do not seem to realize that we are using thousands upon thousands of tons of nuclear waste ("depleted uranium") to fight our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Most Americans still do not seem to know that thousands upon thousands of our troops are getting sick and dying from exposure to DU.
Most Americans still do not seem to understand that the thousands of tons of DU that we have dumped over there have a half-life of 4.5 BILLION years.
So we have essentially contaminated Iraq and Afghanistan FOREVER. When a woman has a baby in Iraq now, they no longer ask if it is a boy or a girl. They ask: "Is it normal?"
DU poisoning even gets passed from our soldiers to their wives during sex, and this has resulted in tragic cases of deformity in the children of our own soldiers:
On March 30, an AP photo featured an American pro-war activist holding a sign: “Nuke the evil scum, it worked in 1945!”
That's exactly what George Bush has done.
America's mega billion dollar war in Iraq is indeed a NUCLEAR WAR.
Bush-Cheney have delivered upon 17 million Iraqis tons of depleted uranium (DU) weapons, a “liberation” gift that will keep on giving.
Depleted uranium is a component of toxic nuclear waste, usually stored at secure sites. Handlers need radiation protection gear.
Over a decade ago, war-makers decided to incorporate this lethal waste into much of the Pentagon's weaponry.
Navy ships carrying Phalanx rapid fire guns are capable of firing thousands of DU rounds per minute. Tomahawk missiles launched from U.S. ships and subs are DU-tipped. The M1 Abrams tanks are armored with DU. These and British Challenger II tanks are tightly packed with DU shells, which continually irradiate troops in or near them. The A-10 “tank buster” aircraft fires DU shells at machines and people on the battlefield.
DU munitions are classified by a United Nations resolution as illegal weapons of mass destruction. Their use breaches all international laws, treaties and conventions forbidding poisoned weapons calculated to cause unnecessary suffering.
Support our troops
Ironically, support for our troops will extend well beyond the war in Iraq. Americans will be supporting Gulf War II veterans for years as they slowly and painfully succumb to radiation poisoning.
U.S and British troops deployed to the area are the walking dead. Humans and animals, friends and foes in the fallout zone are destined to a long downhill spiral of chronic illness and disability.
Kidney dysfunction, lung damage, bloody stools, extreme fatigue, joint pain, unsteady gait, memory loss and rashes and, ultimately, cancer and premature death await those exposed to DU.
Award-winning journalist Will Thomas wrote: “As the last Gulf conflict so savagely demonstrated, GI immune systems reeling from multiple doses of experimental vaccines offer little defense against further exposure to chemical weapons, industrial toxins, stress, caffeine, insect repellent and radiation left over from the last war. This is a war even the victors will lose.”
When a DU shell is fired, it ignites upon impact. Uranium, plus traces of plutonium and americium, vaporize into tiny, ceramic particles of radioactive dust. Once inhaled, uranium oxides lodge in the body and emit radiation indefinitely.
A single particle of DU lodged in a lymph node can devastate the entire immune system according to British radiation expert Roger Coghill. The Royal Society of England published data showing that battlefield soldiers who inhale or swallow high levels of DU can suffer kidney failure within days. Any soldier now in Iraq who has not inhaled lethal radioactive dust is not breathing.
In the first two weeks of combat, 700 Tomahawks, at a cost of $1.3 million each, blasted Iraqi real estate into radioactive mushroom clouds. Millions of DU tank rounds liter the terrain. Cleanup is impossible because there is no place on the planet to put so much contaminated debris.
Bush Sr.'s Gulf War I was also a nuclear war. 320 tons of depleted uranium were used against Iraq in 1991.
A 1998 report by the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances confirms that inhaling DU causes symptoms identical to those claimed by many sick vets with Gulf War Syndrome.
The Gulf War Veterans Association reports that at least 300,000 Gulf War I vets have now developed incapacitating illnesses. To date, 209,000 vets have filed claims for disability benefits based on service-connected injuries and illnesses from combat in that war.
Dr. Asaf Durakovic, a professor of nuclear medicine at Georgetown University, is a former army medical expert. He told nuclear scientists in Paris last year that tens of thousands of sick British and American soldiers are now dying from radiation they encountered during Gulf War I. He found that 62 percent of sick vets tested have uranium isotopes in their organs, bones, brains and urine. Laboratories in Switzerland and Finland corroborated his findings.
In other studies, some sick vets were found to be expressing uranium in even their semen. Their sexual partners often complained of a burning sensation during intercourse, followed by their own debilitating illnesses.
Nothing compares to the astronomical cancer rates and birth defects suffered by the Iraqi people who have endured vicious nuclear chastisement for years. U.S. air attacks against Iraq since 1993 have undoubtedly employed nuclear munitions.
Pictures of grotesquely deformed Iraqi infants born since 1991 are overwhelming. Like those born to Gulf War I vets, many babies born to troops now in Iraq will also be afflicted with hideous deformities, neurological damage and/or blood and respiratory disorders.
Army health physicist Dr. Doug Rokke was dispatched to the Middle East to salvage DU-contaminated tanks after Gulf War I. His Geiger counters revealed that the war zones of Iraq and Kuwait were contaminated with up to 300 millirems an hour in beta and gamma radiation plus thousands to millions of counts per minute in alpha radiation. Rokke recently told the media: “The whole area is still trashed. It is hotter than heck over there still. This stuff doesn't go away.”
DU remains “hot” for 4.5 billion years. Radiation expert Dr. Helen Caldicott confirms that the dust-laden winds of DU-contaminated war zones “will remain effectively radioactive for the rest of time.” The murderous dust storms which ensnared coalition troops during the first few days of the current invasion will have significant health consequences. Rokke and his clean-up team were issued only flimsy dust masks for their dangerous work.
Of the 100 people on Rokke's decontamination team, 30 have already “dropped dead.” Rokke himself is ill with radiation damage to lungs and kidneys. He has brain lesions, skin pustules, chronic fatigue, continual wheezing and painful fibromyalgia. Rokke warns that anyone exposed to DU should have adequate respiratory protection and special coveralls to protect their clothing because, he says, you can't get uranium particles off your clothing.
