In the video Obama declares that America is no longer a Christian nation.

As wrong as that sounds, the truth is that Obama is right.

America is NOT a Christian nation.

America has rejected God and is doing everything it can to take God out of every aspect of public life.

That makes this speech by Obama that much more sad.....

In a recent interview, Vice President Dick Cheney was asked why people don't like him.

After all, his approval rating is below 30 percent.

Sarah Palin is publicly blaming George W. Bush and his administration for the defeat of the McCain/Palin ticket.

And you know what?

She is right.

"It's amazing that we did as well as we did," Palin stated during an interview with the Anchorage Daily News.

"I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a $10 trillion debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration? If we're talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party at the time had been representing," Palin said during the same interview.

It is surprising, and actually quite refreshing, to see a politician speak so candidly.

The reality is that George W. Bush was one of the worst presidents in American history, and if the Republicans are going to regain credibility with the American people, then they are going to have to admit that.

The truth is that Bush has run the economy into the ground, he has gotten the U.S. involved in endless wars and has ruined the reputation of the United States around the world, and he has made so many bad decisions that it would take months just to list them all.

Sarah Palin is also leaving the door open to a run in 2012. She had the following to say during a television interview with Fox News:

"I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door."

Palin's interview on Fox News' "On The Record" program drew a lot of attention. Palin also added this statement later on in that same interview:

"If there is an open door in 2012 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I'll plough through that door."

Have you seen the video of Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zeidi throwing his two shoes at President George W. Bush? Most people are laughing at this incident, but there is much more to this incident than some idiot reporter chucking his shoes at Bush.

This incident represents a dramatic failure of security around President Bush. It is unthinkable that someone would be able to not only throw one shoe at Bush from almost point blank range, but that this reporter would also have the chance to slowly reload and chuck a 2nd shoe at Bush.

Where in the world was the secret service while this was happening? What if the Iraqi reporter had actually been armed?

2008 is not even over and John McCain is already betraying Sarah Palin and trying to derail her political future. John McCain is now openly declaring that he will not support his former running mate Sarah Palin if she runs for president in 2012.

When George Stephanopoulos asked John McCain on ABC's "This Week" if Sarah Palin could count on his support in 2012, he answered by saying "Oh, no" and then went on to explain how the Republicans should be looking at other governors for new leadership for the party.

It has been a really bad month for Palin.

Sarah Palin's home church was recently badly damaged by arson which caused approximately 1 million dollars in damage.

But even with all of this bad news, a recent poll of Republicans reveals that 32 percent of them support her for the Republican nomination in 2012 at this stage.

So is Sarah Palin finished?

Not by a long shot.

One way to know when you are getting close to the truth is when people start trying to cover things up.

Now mainstream news websites are actually PULLING DOWN month old stories that show that Barack Obama met with disgraced Governor Rod Blagojevich on November 5th to discuss the Senate seat that Obama is vacating.

In the past couple of days people began to find news stories that showed that Obama DID meet with Blagojevich on November 5th to specifically discuss the Senate seat, and once these news stories started to get around, mainstream news outlets started to quickly pull them down.

Disgraceful and shameful.

Fortunately alternative media and bloggers have come to the rescue again. Screenshots of the stories were taken and these things have been documented so that the American people will know the facts.

We also know that David Axelrod said on November 23rd that Obama and Blagojevich had discussed the Senate seat:"I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."

Axelrod is now saying that he was mistaken.

So what is the truth?

Like so many things these days, will we ever find out the truth?

If Barack Obama knew that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was trying to "sell" the Senate seat that he was vacating, why didn't Obama immediately report this fact to the authorities?

What Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich tried to do was not just regular, run of the mill corruption. It was sickening beyond description.

If Obama knew, and he didn't report it to anyone, then it would be a political act that is unethical to the extreme.

Let's run down what we do know.....

#1) Blagojevich believes that he made an offer to "sell" the open Senate seat in return for "help in the private sector" from Obama.

According to recordings the authorities made of Blagojevich, he said this: "Can [Obama] help in the private sector … where it wouldn't be tied to him? … I mean, so it wouldn't necessarily look like one for the other?"

#2) Blagojevich believes that Obama knew about his offer and refused it.

WorldNetDaily is reporting that investigators are saying that the governor was given a negative response about getting something in return from Obama for the Senate seat and that he then called Obama an obscenity.

#3) We know that David Axelrod, one of Obama's top advisors, did say on November 23rd that Obama and Blagojevich had discussed the Senate seat. This is what Axelrod said about it:

"I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."

#4) We know that Obama and Blagojevich have been close in the past.

Barack Obama actually endorsed Blagojevich in 2002 and in 2006 and served as his adviser during 2002. The truth is that they are very familiar with each other.

#5) The Washington Post is reporting the identity of the intermediary between Obama and Blagojevich.

The Washington Post is reporting that an official with the Service Employees International Union acted as an intermediary between Blagojevich and Barack Obama's organization in discussions about the Senate seat that Barack Obama will be vacating.

So what is the bottom line?

The bottom line is that if Obama knew of Blagojevich's offer, then this is a scandal that should be the number one story on all the networks.

This is big.

*Canada's parliament has been shut down. Canadian Governor General Michaelle Jean, the representative of Queen Elizabeth, has agreed to suspend the Canadian parliament until late January, giving Prime Minister Stephen Harper time to figure out how to save his job.

Barack Obama's "New World Order"?

*Lastly, Time magazine actually has a new article out entitled: "Obama's New World Order"

While some of Barack Obama's foreign policy appointments have pleased Republicans, many of his other appointments are revealing his radical far left agenda.

For example, Barack Obama has selected Ellen Moran, the executive director of an abortion activist group known as "EMILY's List" to be his White House communications director.

The "EMILY" in EMILY’s List stands for “Early Money Is Like Yeast”, and that organization has raised many millions of dollars for radically pro abortion political candidates.

For Obama to appoint the head of such an organization to such a prominent position shows exactly where he stands once again.

Now Barack Obama is appointing Cecilia Munoz, the senior vice president of La Raza, as the new director of intergovernmental affairs.

La Raza is a radical leftist group that actively promotes illegal immigration. In fact, Munoz rejects that idea of calling the legalization of illegal immigrants "amnesty" because according to her that word "conveys a sense of forgiving someone for a crime." Apparently she does not believe that it is a crime for people to come into the United States illegally.

But it isn't just Barack Obama's administration that is becoming radically liberal.

Richard Cizik, the chief lobbyist and vice president for governmental affairs for the National Association of Evangelicals now says that he is "shifting" on gay marriage and that he believes in homosexual civil unions.

Wow.

Are there any true conservatives left out there anymore?

Now that the campaign is over we can admit the truth: John McCain is a horrific campaigner.

I mean honestly - that was one of the worst presidential campaigns by a major candidate in the modern era.

But you know what?

When McCain relaxes and starts telling jokes he is actually quite funny.
