Can Sarah Palin Win In 2012?
In a brand new Washington Post-ABC News poll, Palin trailed Barack Obama by 13 points. In fact, 59 percent of respondents said that they would not even consider voting for Sarah Palin in 2012.
Not only that, another recent poll found Palin losing to Obama by 22 percentage points.
So will Sarah Palin run for president in 2012? For now, she is playing coy. This week when she was asked if she was going to run in 2012, Palin responded by saying that she is giving it "prayerful consideration" and that a final decision will not be made for "some months".
All along it has been assumed that Sarah Palin would run in 2012, but as the poll numbers just keep getting more dismal, perhaps there is a distinct possibility that she may not hop into the race.
After all, you would think that right now her poll numbers should be at an all-time high. The Republicans were wildly successful in the 2010 mid-term elections and Barack Obama's popularity is at an all-time low.
Unfortunately for Palin, it just seems as though the more the American people get to know her the less they want her to be the next president. Her poll numbers just keep on dropping.
In fact, I personally have seen all over the Internet people declaring that they will never vote for Barack Obama again "unless he is running against Sarah Palin".
Right now Palin has a major perception problem.
So can she fix it in time?
You never know.
She does have millions of devoted followers, and she certainly does have the most "star quality" of any of the 2012 Republican contenders.
If she could somehow pull out the Republican nomination, Barack Obama's popularity may be so low by the fall of 2012 that just about any challenger could beat him.
Stranger things have happened.
But right now Sarah Palin is a horse that nobody should be betting on. If this was the middle of the campaign season you would be able to stick a fork in her already.
Fortunately for Palin, she still has time to turn things around. She should start by getting some much smarter and more competent people around her.
Winning an election takes a winning team, and right now Palin does not have that.
For now she has some people producing some slick videos for her, but it is going to take a whole lot more than this to win in 2012....
One of the most troubling signs is that sales of Palin's new book, "America By Heart", have been below expectations.
If Sarah Palin can't sell books to her hardcore followers now, then how in the world is she going to win the votes of independents and moderates in 2012?
The Palin camp needs to change course and they need to do it now.
American voters usually vote with their wallets, and the Republican candidates that provide real solutions on jobs and the economy in 2012 are the ones that are going to do the best.
Sarah Palin would be wise to study sites such as The American Dream and The Debt which reflect the kind of economic values that resound with hard working independent voters.
What Sarah Palin is doing right now is NOT working.
If she continues down the same road she will NOT be the next president.
2012 is the greatest opportunity that she will ever have, so if she wants to make a move now is the time.
But Palin must do something quickly because time is starting to run out.

Sarah Palin Resigns As Alaska Governor - Is She Giving Up Or Getting Ready For 2012?
In an absolutely shocking announcement, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced on Friday that she is resigning effective at the end of this month. Does this mean that she is giving up and trying to get out of the public limelight, or does this mean that she is completely devoting herself to a run for the presidency in 2012?The truth?
Nobody knows.
In a cryptic statement released by her office, Palin said the following about her resignation:
"Once I decided not to run for re-election, I also felt that to embrace the conventional Lame Duck status in this particular climate would just be another dose of politics as usual, something I campaigned against and will always oppose."
So is this the last that we will see of Sarah Palin?
Has the horrific treatment that she has received from the national media scared her away from politics forever?
Or is she gearing up for the fight of her life?
Is she getting ready to put absolutely everything into trying to defeat Barack Obama in 2012 and to become the first female president of the United States?
Perhaps a message that she posted on Twitter following her resignation gives us a clue:
"We'll soon attach info on decision to not seek re-election ... this is in Alaska's best interest, my family's happy ... it is good. Stay tuned"

Sarah Palin Publicly Blames George W. Bush And His Administration For The Defeat In The Election
And you know what?
She is right.
"It's amazing that we did as well as we did," Palin stated during an interview with the Anchorage Daily News.
"I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a $10 trillion debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration? If we're talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party at the time had been representing," Palin said during the same interview.
It is surprising, and actually quite refreshing, to see a politician speak so candidly.
The reality is that George W. Bush was one of the worst presidents in American history, and if the Republicans are going to regain credibility with the American people, then they are going to have to admit that.
The truth is that Bush has run the economy into the ground, he has gotten the U.S. involved in endless wars and has ruined the reputation of the United States around the world, and he has made so many bad decisions that it would take months just to list them all.
Sarah Palin is also leaving the door open to a run in 2012. She had the following to say during a television interview with Fox News:
"I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door."
Palin's interview on Fox News' "On The Record" program drew a lot of attention. Palin also added this statement later on in that same interview:
"If there is an open door in 2012 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I'll plough through that door."

John McCain Openly Refuses To Support Sarah Palin In 2012
2008 is not even over and John McCain is already betraying Sarah Palin and trying to derail her political future. John McCain is now openly declaring that he will not support his former running mate Sarah Palin if she runs for president in 2012.When George Stephanopoulos asked John McCain on ABC's "This Week" if Sarah Palin could count on his support in 2012, he answered by saying "Oh, no" and then went on to explain how the Republicans should be looking at other governors for new leadership for the party.
It has been a really bad month for Palin.
Sarah Palin's home church was recently badly damaged by arson which caused approximately 1 million dollars in damage.
But even with all of this bad news, a recent poll of Republicans reveals that 32 percent of them support her for the Republican nomination in 2012 at this stage.
So is Sarah Palin finished?
Not by a long shot.

Even Though The Election Is Over, Sarah Palin Remains A Huge Star On The Internet
Sarah Palin continues to dominate search engine queries and online video sites.
There is only one American politician who continues to generate similar traffic on the internet.
That politician is Barack Obama.
Sarah Palin now ranks 4th, just one spot below Barack Obama, on the weekly Lycos 50 list.
A recent YouTube clip that featured her being interviewed while a turkey was slaughtered in the background was YouTube's most viewed clip last week. Palin did not know the turkey was being slaughtered behind her, but most viewers didn't seem to make that distinction.
So why has Sarah Palin remained so interesting for the public?
Interest in John McCain has dropped off the map, so why has that not happened to Palin?
Well, there was just something about Sarah Palin that seemed to capture the imagination of the public. It seemed that almost everyone either loved her or hated her. She truly was one of the most polarizing figures in recent political history.
So will interest in Sarah Palin continue as the months pass by?
Only time will tell.

Long Before She Was A Maverick, Sarah Palin Was A Sportscaster
Long before Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska, she was a sportscaster.Come to think of it, is it fair that any one person has had so many cool jobs in one lifetime - beauty queen, mayor, governor, sportscaster and now possibly vice president of the United States?
It just doesn't seem fair.
Could a maverick sportscaster be elected the next vice president of the United States tomorrow? We will find out soon!

John Cleese Rips Sarah Palin To Shreds In A New Interview
At all.
This is almost more bizarre than the now famous Matt Damon clip.
I wonder if his opinion would be radically different if she was a pro-choice Democrat.
Check it out:

Video Of Sarah Palin Tying Barack Obama To Terrorists
Doesn't it seem strange that all of the criticism of Obama is coming from Palin and none from McCain?
In fact, a lot of analysts are saying that McCain has been incredibly "soft" on Obama.
Well, whatever McCain and Palin are doing it is not working because Obama's lead seems to be increasing with each passing day.

Sarah Palin Says It Is A Choice To Be Gay And John McCain Says He Aspires To Be A Dictator
In fact, it seems as though there are millions of people out there just waiting to catch the candidates in their words.
For example, Sarah Palin said during a recent interview that being gay is a choice, and now the gay community is really upset:
Another recent example is John McCain telling the Des Moines Register that "I Always Aspire To Be A Dictator":

Sarah Palin: "I Think I Will See Jesus Come Back To Earth In My Lifetime"
When Sarah Palin was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, she apparently was not afraid to let her evangelical beliefs be known.Wasilla resident, Phil Munger, a music composer and teacher said this about Palin: "She looked in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime'."
Munger also claims to have discussed creation and evolution with Palin.
The Independent is reporting that Munger also said the following about Palin: "She wanted to get people who believed in creationism on the [school] board. I bumped into her after my band played at a graduation ceremony at the Assembly of God [a church]. I said, 'Sarah, how can you believe in creationism – your father's a science teacher.' And she said, 'We don't have to agree on everything.' I pushed her on the earth's creation, whether it was really less than 7,000 years old and whether dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. And she said yes, she'd seen images somewhere of dinosaur fossils with human footprints in them."
Beliefs such as these are alarming some Americans who aren't sure that they agree with Palin on these issues.
So is there any rational reason for Palin to believe that Jesus could be coming back to earth in our lifetimes?
Well, many Christians would argue that there are ancient prophecies that are being fulfilled in our lifetimes right in front of our very eyes?
Below are just a few examples.....
1) The rebirth of Israel and the rebuilding of the Temple.
Did you know that no nation that has ceased to exist has EVER come back into being after 2000 years of not being a nation?
But the Bible says that Israel would once again be a nation in the end times and that the Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem.
See Ezekiel 37, 2 Thessalonians 2, Revelation 11, etc.
Result: THAT HAPPENED AND IS HAPPENING
For more information on the rebuilding of the Jewish temple, go to the link below and click on "Preparations for the Rebuilding of the Temple":
http://www.christian.tv/index.php?module=ctv&action=mediaCenter&cid=22
2) The rebirth of the Roman Empire.
Did you realize that the Bible predicts a resurgence of the Roman Empire in the last days?
See Daniel 2, Daniel 7, etc.
Result: THAT IS HAPPENING
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union
3) The Bible foretold that we would have to have a mark on our right hand or on our forehead to buy or sell.
See Revelation 13
Result: THAT IS HAPPENING - ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR CHIP PEOPLE?
http://themoralcollapseofamerica.blogspot.com/2008/09/uks-biggest-credit-card-provider-says.html
4) The Bible foretold that there would be an army of 200 million men.
Prior to the 20th century the population of the world was such that an army of that magnitude was absolutely inconceivable.
See Revelation 9:16
Result: THAT IS HAPPENING
http://www.trumpetmin.org/prophecy.htm
5) The Bible foretold a time when all the people of the earth would look upon God's prophets in Jerusalem.
Before television and modern communications that would be IMPOSSIBLE.
But now, since the 20th century, the prophecy of Revelation 11:9 can be fulfilled.
See Revelation 11:9
Shall I go on?
There is so much prophecy that is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes, and yet so many are willingly blind to it.
At least Sarah Palin realizes what is going on.

Apparently Hollywood Does Not Like Sarah Palin
Whatever the reason, actors and actresses are coming out and actively talking about politics very openly this year.
And Sarah Palin seems to have really hit a nerve with Hollywood.
Hollywood seems to hate Sarah Palin more than any candidate that has come along in a long, long time:
Meanwhile, a fifth grade kid has been suspended from school for wearing an anti-Obama shirt.
Things are getting tense this election season, eh?

The 16 Most Stunning Pictures Of Sarah Palin
However, it has become clear over the past couple of weeks that America has fallen in love with the Republican candidate for Vice President.
John McCain's poll numbers are surging, and voters from across the political spectrum seem to have an insatiable appetite for more information about Sarah Palin.
Below we have posted 16 of the most stunning photos of Sarah Palin. There is a saying that "a picture is worth a thousand words", so hopefully these pictures will help you to get to know Sarah Palin a lot better:
"I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone."
"Our family has the same ups and downs as any other""This world of threats and dangers is not just a community, and it doesn’t just need an organizer."
"To the families of special-needs children all across this country, I have a message: For years, you sought to make America a more welcoming place for your sons and daughters. I pledge to you that if we are elected, you will have a friend and advocate in the White House."
"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities."
"Our opponents say again and again that drilling will not solve all of America's energy problems, as if we didn't know that already."
"Here's a little newsflash for those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this great country."
"No, we tend to prefer candidates who don't talk about us one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco."
"But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or even a reform, not even in the State Senate."
"This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting and never use the word "victory," except when he's talking about his own campaign."
"But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed, when the roar of the crowd fades away, when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot..."
"My fellow citizens, the American presidency is not supposed to be a journey of personal discovery."
"What is it exactly that the VP does every day?"
"We need to send a strong message that law-abiding citizens have a right to own firearms, for personal protection, for hunting and for any other lawful purpose."
"Do you know what the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull is? Lipstick."
"I might add that, in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they're listening and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening."
